Today, we are opening the Factory Guild for applications.

The Guild is for students, independent builders, and members of the developer community who want to build with Droids, share what they learn, and help shape what comes next.

Built with intention

At Factory, we do everything with intention. The Guild is no different.

We are selecting a small, curated group of students from leading universities, along with builders, creators, researchers, and community leaders from across the technical community. We are looking for people who are excited about AI, skilled at bringing people together, and eager to share what they learn.

That might mean building a project, publishing technical content, organizing an event, creating educational resources, supporting other members, or helping more people discover what Droids can do.

Every application is reviewed by the Guild Council. We are looking for curiosity, initiative, originality, and a genuine commitment to helping shape what comes next.

The Guild stays selective by design. That allows us to invest deeply in the people who join and build a community where membership means something. For members who make an exceptional impact, the Guild may open a path to potential roles at Factory.

Rewards for real contribution

Guild members contribute in the ways that fit their interests and expertise. The Guild Council evaluates each contribution based on its quality, consistency, community impact, and the value it creates for other builders.

Contributions earn points toward your Guild rank. Every member starts as an Apprentice. As you build and contribute consistently, you can advance to Craftsman. Artisan is the Guild's highest rank, recognizing members doing especially distinctive work and making a meaningful contribution to the community.

As your rank advances, you can unlock:

• Portfolio and resume support

The Guild creates a feedback loop between members and Factory. You use Droids to build real things, share what works and what does not, and help shape what comes next. In return, Factory recognizes your work and gives you more ways to build, contribute, and grow.

The Guild is for you if you:

• Already build with Factory or want to start
• Are an excellent community builder
• Research software agents and autonomous engineering
• Create technical content or educational resources
• Want to share your work with other ambitious builders
• Have big ambitions for the future of software development

You do not need a large audience or a polished personal brand. You need curiosity, initiative, and work that demonstrates what you can do.
